Street Art Covilhã

 

Ao chegarmos à zona histórica da Covilhã começamos a depara-nos com diversas pinturas nas paredes de alguns edifícios desta zona da cidade. As telas destes artistas são as paredes e estas dão assim vida às ruas da cidade com um mix de cor e criatividade.

Esta mostra de Street Art torna a Covilhã num museu ao ar livre. Uma grande diversidade de estilos completam um roteiro com mais de 20 pontos de observação.

Devido a um vasto projecto de valorização turístico-patrimonial surge a assinatura do reconhecido Wool - Festival de arte urbana da Covilhã, algo pioneiro com estas características no interior do país.

Estas iniciativas são fundamentais para um desenvolvimento estruturado e multilateral no interior do país. A arte é algo que tem que chegar a todos.

Urban Art - Covilhã

When we arrived to the historic area from Covilhã, we find several paitings on the walls of somo buildings in this part of the city. The canvas of this artists are the walls and this gives life to the streets of the city with a mix of coulour and creativity.

This Street Art turned Covilhã into an open-air museum. A great diversity of styles became a itinerary with more than 2o paints of observation.

Due a vast project of tourism-heritage valuation, occurred the signature of the recognized "Wool - Festival" of Covilhã urban art, something pioneering with this characteristics in the up-country.

These initiatives are fundamental to structured and multilateral development in the up-country.
