O início

 

Em 2013, uma bolinha de pêlo entrava na minha vida, foi baptizada de Zumba e mal eu sabia que viria a acompanhar o ritmo da música de 1978 da Tonicha - "Zumba na Caneca", um sucesso popular em Portugal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpBejrEgzv4&pbjreload=10). Quando ela chegou, foi-me trazida de um anúncio publicado no OLX e o seu nome deriva do facto de que, quem a foi buscar me ter enganado dizendo que ia a uma aula de dança de Zumba. A bolinha de pêlo depressa se empenhou em mostrar que tinha carácter, longe estava eu de adivinhar que essa demonstração de personalidade me iria levar a um lugar incrível. Com as constantes exigências que o crescimento da Zumba trazia, procurar uma escola de treino era essencial, foi aí que descobri a ATAAC (Associação de Treinadores Amadores e Amigos do Cão), onde permaneço até hoje.

Durante este período a Zumba fez muitos amigos, não só pessoas e cães, mas também cavalos, pois o meu dia-a-dia era entre eles. Cerca de quatro meses foi o tempo em que diariamente a Zumba me acompanhava para trabalhar num centro hípico. Quando deixei este emprego passei a ter bastante tempo com a Zumba porque estive quase um ano sem emprego a tempo inteiro, o que fez com que a nossa relação estreitasse bastante.

Mais tarde regressei ao trabalho a tempo inteiro e o tempo em que podia estar com ela reduziu muito, contudo, tentei sempre compensar antes e após o trabalho e nas folgas.

Cedo a Zumba demonstrou ter uma grande capacidade para o exercício físico e grande vontade para abraçar novos desafios, sendo a brincadeira na água uma perdição.

A ATAAC passou a ser uma segunda casa e os ensinamentos da Ana Andrade tratado. Foi com ela que compreendi o que é a natureza de um cão e constatei que a Zumba me seguiria para onde quer que eu fosse e eu tudo faria para que a sua vida fosse feita de felicidade verdadeira.

The Beginning

In 2013 a small fur ball came into my life, was baptized Zumba and I don't know that would come along the rhythm of the 1978 music of Tonicha - "Zumba na Caneca", a popular hit in Portugal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpBejrEgzv4&pbjreload=10). When she arrived, she was brought to me from an advertisement published in OLX and her name derives from the fact that whoever came to find me deceived me by saying that I was going to a Zumba dance class.

The small fur ball quickly committed to show which had character, I could not guess that this demonstration of personality would lead me to an incredible place, with the constant demands that the growth of Zumba brought, searching for a trining school was essencial, that's when I discovered ATAAC (Association of Amateur Trainers and Dog Friends), where I stay until today.

During this period Zumba made many friends, no just people and dogs, but also horses, because my day-to-day was between them. About four months was the time in which Zumba accompanied me daily to work in an equestrian center. When I left this job I had enough time with Zumba because I was almost a year without full-time employment, which made our relationship very close.

I later returned to full-time employment and the time I could be with her greatly reduced, however, I always tried to compensate her before and after work, in days out or breaks.

Early Zumba demonstrated to have a great capacity for physical exercise and great willin guess to embrace new challenges, being the play in the water her perdition.

The ATAAC became a second home and the teatchings of Ana Andrade a treatise. It was with her that I understood what the nature of a dog was and I realized that Zumba would follow me wherever I went and I would do everything so that her life was made of true happiness.
